Xena came walking out of the shrubs at a camp site when she was 6 weeks old. Mother was nowhere to be found, so the Cat Care Society, a local rescue organisation in Dordrecht, was called in. Peter, one of their volunteers (and a moderator at my cat forum), took her in.

He published some pics of her on the forum and I fell in love with her straightaway.

She really considers me her mother, she lost hers when she was only 6 weeks old, so she really needed someone to mother her. And I love it when she snuggles up to me like that, even if it means she wakes me up in the middle of the night.....
