Title: How to stop a cat pulling stitches after spay
Post by: JackSpratt on April 22, 2011, 14:29:33 PM
Personally, I've been lucky in this area. All I've had to do is say "No, stop that!" and they usually have. But the young girl next door has just had her little torti Fifi spayed and is at her wits end because she won't leave her wound alone.

I've given her my plastic cone but Fifi is doing the moonwalk to get out of it.... :tired:

cady was pulling at her stitches and she even managed to get her cone off several times, but we just perservered. if she took it off, i put it back on again and she eventually gave up, allowing the wound to heal!
