Meet Molly

Some of you may recall that my mother in law looked after Lia for a few days after she was caught late last year. Well the experience reminded her how lovely it is to have a companion. So she decided it was time to get a cat of her own! I was in the process of researching rescues near her when she received a phone call from someone she knows, asking if she knows anyone who wants a cat! Well I am sure you can guess the rest - Molly is a 12 year old lady who just wants to mooch around, sit on laps and enjoy cuddles, and she is settling down very happily with my MIL where she is no longer being harassed by a kitten. Of course I didn't understand why they were rehoming their existing cat instead of the new kitten, but if that's their attitude then she's better off without them!

I spoke with Sabrina a few weeks back and she's still in the UK for now; her dad was so pleased to have her back home that they decided she would stay there for now at least. But at least she's safe and warm!
