Title: Is Georgia really a dog in Disguise?
Post by: thekittensmittens on March 26, 2011, 10:38:48 AM
My daughter gave Georgia one of those chewy cat treats yesterday, I was upstairs drying my hair and heard what i thought was a dog.. it was Georgia giving a very loud dog like growl guarding her treat like her life depended upon it
Is this normal for cats to growl like dogs
oddly though she was so proud of her treat that she started doing stroll bys past Miyagi to show off her treat then doing her dog growl if he came near :evillaugh:
Oh is now slightly petrified and hes now convinced that Georgia is not a normal cat

My Soap growls when she has got treats and toys, so you are not alone! I know treat/toy guarding can be quite a problem in dogs but I don't know if its such an issue in cats...just in case, I take the toy or treat of her so she knows not to guard it from me.

Jaffa growls when he's given a chicken wing.  It's very funny!
