Saw her yesterday afternoon and nothing since :( This isn't like her, she always checks in on a regular basis. I'm hoping that with the nicer weather, some neighbours have had sheds open and she's locked in one. I'll give it till this evening then go door knocking when most people will be home from work hopefully.
I miss my little girl :(
-
Hope she is found/comes back soon safe and well
-
 Hopefully she will be back soon. As you say the weather has come nicer so she may be making the most of it.
-
Posters hun ...,, fingers crossed she is back soon
-
Posters currently not an option, no ink in my printer and no money to pay for them at the library. I will have to do door knocking tonight and hope she turns up then.
-
Sending come home soon vibes her way
-
After my experiences trying to find the owners of an escaped bunny last weekend I would definitely recommend you hand write a poster for your nearest shop to display, maybe you could add a photo if you have one.
Hope she turns up soon
-
I have had success with posters in the past (on lamp posts though), so I may have to see what coppers I can scrape together to print two or three off, they are far more effective with a picture and all mine are digital. I'm sitting here feeling a bit useless so may hand write some notes to put through doors as the last time I went door knocking virtually no-one was home!
-
Are there no forum members or other friends/family with a working printer who live close to you who could print some posters off for you?
I'd be happy to but by the time you got them through the post i expect she will be back home and wondering what all the fuss is about :Luv2:
I'm always having to print stuff off for my brother who's printer has broken, unfortunately he says hes not buying a new one till our foster kittens have been rehomed because he says picking up printing is a good excuse to come over and play with them.
-
I can't believe she's still not back. Come on, Little Miss!
-
No-one local with a printer :( Am writing notes now, it's not taking an age to do, honest! :scared:
I just hope 6-6.30 comes and in she comes sauntering past me on my way out to door knock demanding to know where her dinner is.............
-
come on lil miss hurry up and go home!
-

Fabulous amazing news! She's home! I was sitting on my bed writing a few more door knocking notes and these two women stop at my gate, one with a carrier and the other starts walking down my path. Guess who was in the carrier!? She was quite far away, was being chased and attacked by a tom.
She chose this lady to stay with last night and the other one swore she'd seen a cat like her up this way so they were door knocking themselves! Dave was following them all round too and they knew he knew her, they just had to work out where from! Sooooo relieved!
Funniest thing is they said they tried to give her Whiskas but she wouldn't eat it, would only eat ham. She tried that with me when she first moved in too :evillaugh:
-
yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss great news and good ladies too ;D
-
What a relief  i bet she will get some fuss tonight :Luv2:
-
great news! i'm glad she's home. what a worry!
-
She's a little disgruntled and I think unsettled in herself after an eventful 24 hours. Luckily one of the ladies has cats herself so she chose the right place to stay!
I have administered medicinal Dreamies and will leave her to it, she's having a wash on the bed as I type.
Cat flap is LOCKED!
-
What a nice ending. If only the whole world was made up of cat lovers like those two women!
-
Great news, and bless Dave for following the women round :)
-
Yayyyyyyy Im so pleased!!!
Well dont those people and of course Dave for leading them home...... Maybe you should change his name to ermm.....Lassie....well maybe not :naughty:

Thank heavens she is home and thank heavens for lovely people with real hearts of gold
-
Shona that's amazing - I hope you got the address of those 2 very kind ladies incase she ever goes missing again. She deserves those Dreamies after a tom cat going after her even if she did have ham for her supper

She's tucking into her dinner now :Luv: No ham out of me :evillaugh: She seems much happier now, not purring yet so still in shock a little bit I think, bless her. hopefully this has given her a bit of a scare and she'll be more inclined to stay closer to home form now on!
-
thank goodness
-
what a cheeky Madam  you need a supply of ham so she knows its best to come home, the cheeky girl! so glad the ladies knew where she came from and brought her home.
Im dreading letting our Georgia out, she gets spayed next week and microchipped and i know she is the type of cat who will love going out but so worried what she will get upto. Im going to make a cat garden to keep her tempted to come back but whether she will like it i dont know, my neighbour said i have two cats come into my garden allready but i havent seen them although since getting the kittens a cat keeps leaving a poo outisde my front door so they must know they are in here
I fear Georgia is the type to go off for miles as she is allways hunting and climbing in the house- I know its part of having cats, my brother paces the floor if Moms cat bear is out more than an hour :shy:
-
It's the worst bit about having cats. I was beside myself when she escaped yesterday (I had wanted to keep her in for a day!) as she wasn't herself still but back she came an hour later, her old purry self returned like nothing had happened and the growling and hissing she had directed at me were nothing to with her!
I have loads of cats visit me in the summer and yesterday was the first day I'd had my lounge window open for ages and in comes a black cat (who used to live with Little Miss, long story) who I've only seen now and again over winter. She comes in, walking straight past Dave, who just looks a little confused, has a good mooch round, wanders down the hall, sticks her head in the bedroom, has another mooch round the lounge then wanders off out the window again. :evillaugh: This goes on with various different cats all summer long and I love it!
-
My daughter has threatened to kill anyone who trys to pinch HER cat   this was because my little girls friends dad was telling me about his next door but one who has stolen his cat by feeding it despite being told not to repitively.
I knew which cat he meant as its a lovely white tortie with amazing colours and no tail. he told me it had got hit by a car then dragged up the street so it had cost about £1700 to put poor kitty back to life so it was a cat with a story!, the neighbours kept on continuing to feed it despite an ongoing battle then one day they knocked on the door after a year and said i think your cat is ill -are you going to take it to the vets  he said you have stolen my cat- you take it if you want it so much so now its now the neighbours cat and he gets to see it sat outside his house .
my next door neighbour has told me she doesnt like cats now :( so i hope its not going to cause a problem, i told them i am buying a new fence as HA refuses to replace the rotten shiplap one so i took it down and thought id get one with the concrete bottom and panelled top..the fella next door said he hopes they fit it correctly as his mate said it needs to be laid on broken glass bottles to kill rats
Im buying the fence, they havent offered to pay me anything to help and all that is on there side is a broken peice of wire fence with holes the kids can climp in and out of, plus the old shiplap kept falling down after their grandkids climb on it continually.
I want to keep the cats in-rats out and have a nice garden too but its a battle round here i can tell you so hope my cats dont get dragged into if they start wanting to wander next door
your kitty sounds like she knows which side her breads buttered but is going to make you suffer now with worry lol :wow: I dont think My little one Mr miyagi will be allowed out far as hes very hairy, very docile and very lazy= a rather stupid fat cat  ive allways wanted a daft cat and he fits the bill bless him but im sure he is going to be a major worry as he can fall asleep in an instant and sure he is one of those cats that will attempt sucide by laying on the road for a nap etc :(
