I thought I'd start a new thread to show off my first finished cat bed commission ;D I am ridiculously pleased with how it's turned out. A few tweaks are needed I think for me to be 100% happy with it but I'm 98% happy and that's good enough for the first proper bed!

Wow! That looks excellent  :wow: Lucky Jamie indeed!

Not sure how much the materials cost you and how much the bed sold for but if there's any profit in it you should consider selling on ebay - I'd bet they'd go like hot cakes!

I didn't really charge more than cost as it's the first proper one I've made and I was worrying about it turning out a bit substandard!

I've got an order for another 4 when the person who wants them gets paid ;D

At the moment they're sort of priced on order as they're individual and fabric prices will vary. However, if I get a little money to spare I'll do some standard ones that I will sell, maybe on Etsy as opposed to Ebay as I can put other bits and pieces and it only costs 20c to list for 3 months or something like that and of course you only pay commission if you sell.

I think the bed is great  ;D
 
I think Helen should have at least one bed in the same colour as this one as it would match the collar she won in the auction  ;) :evillaugh:
