I have been worrying a lot about the pets that have been caught in the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, as well as the human tragedies. If you can spare a bit, this short article has info on authorized charities that are already helping there:

Good post  :hug: If you scroll through the photo slides it gives links to the various animal aid organisations that are tyring to help.

Saw this moving video about a dog caught up in the Tsunami loyally protecting his friend  :(

That's so sad.  Least they are both safe now and will hopefully be homed together.  Poor babies.

Unfortunately, according to Global Animal, the reports that they are safe are unconfirmed

I hope they are safe  :( I know it's only two animals out of potentially thousands but once you have seen their little faces they stay in your head  :(

I did see on a news clip in the corner of an emrgency shelter a cat wandering around which was heartwarming  :shy:
