my beautiful darlings love spraying on the kitchen socket, tripping the circuit breakers and corroding the wire.
OH smeared them all with vaseline or has replaced some with blank plates but the ones in use still get a hammering.
An now trying safety covers and we fitted two today. will let you know how it goes.
has anyone else tried them?

I had to make my own 'Blue Peter' ;) version of these several years ago due to this prob - came to a head when Harry shorted out the boiler timer  My home made job was just clear plastic (cut out from those clear plastic stationery folders) and clear tape - does the trick, but those protectors prob look better.

Had my covers for 6 weeks now and have to report they are a success here. Look OK, may even have reduced the amount of spraying and when they have easy to wipe down.....

Do they just clip on Angie?

yes you have to unscrew socket from wall a bit and they they clip round the back - not that I did it of course, I was probably sleeping!
