Title: Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

Local rescue that I visited last year is still struggling for funds, so (I hope this is OK) I thought I'd bring it to peoples attention.

The animals there are very well cared for and the cats that are long stay residents even have a cat flap in and out of the cat block in to the surrounding woods! :Luv:

Looks like a caring rescue. :) So many are struggling :( :(  So sad as it's the animals that miss out  :'(

It's utterly wonderful. I was really impressed by how the carers were doing just that and all the pens were clean and well maintained.

We've been there a few times and it is a nice place, we've taken things for the shop and been to see the animals.   In fact we considered adopting a poorly oldie there but they were having some work done and one of the workers there took him home with her and decided to keep him so we never got chance to see him.

Ahh, so they're little catflaps! I've been to a few rescues and didn't know if they were flaps or little windows  :-[ :evillaugh: that's a good thing.
