A parcel arrived yesterday, now Sly the kitten (well he's nearer two years old but behaves like a juvenile delinquent) couldn't wait for me to open it, he knocked it off the worktop and by the time I got to it, he'd covered it with slobber and clawed great holes in the packaging. By now I'd realised what it was. ;D
The now soggy parcel from Purrs shop :thanks: contains: 5 knitted catnip pumpkins, two honeysuckle bows and two valerian bows.
So, first time with honeysuckle and valerian, very successful. Pursley took the pink honeysuckle bow and won't give it back :Luv:. Theo fell in lust with the brown valerian bow and nobody wants it back :eeeew: and three of the pumpkins are constantly employed for five-a-side footie in the kitchen. My sides are aching from the antics
The fourth pumpkin has been adopted by Chubby as his first ever friend, he slept with his head on it last night, bless his little feral paws.
What great timing though, with the weather outside :rain: my furry gang would be stuck for anything to do other than make trouble without their new toys.

the purrs shop is great isn't it, I've never tried honeysuckle either, better have a look!
-
Drum loves her honeysuckle twist!
Bass loved hers for about five minutes, but she doesn't show much interest in anything except Dreamies and being brushed.

Mine love the Purrmuda triangles lol

Poor poor yeti, he lived happily being tugged and bitten, bunny kicked and licked for almost six months.
Until this morning, when his seams finally gave way to Sly's relentless gnawing.
His innards spilled all over the path, he ended his day drowned in the waterbowl.
RIP Yeti, you were a good friend :sorry:
Must say he gave me a bit of a fright...
-
That's a bit distasteful Sheila, posting a pic of the poor deceased yeti's body still in situ :evillaugh: I hope one of your bunch wins the Purrs 'anything goes' cat show so they can get a replacement yeti with the purrs shop voucher prize! ;D
-
Yeah it is isn't it :naughty: :evillaugh:
Forgot about the prize, would def get another Yeti, but might need to re-inforce his gusset next time :-: :-:

Chortle so I did. Haven't had a good chortle in a while

i mean *cough* RIP Yeti :RIP: you put up a brave fight .....but the disembowlment and drowning were just too much :shify: :shify:
:evillaugh:
I'd have gotten the fright of my life if i saw the face staring from the waterbowl

lol how did I miss that yeti pic, it is brilliant!
-
  poor poor yeti
Love the pics hun ;D ;D
I had a request the other day for a very large Spring onion Valerian flavour as the normal onion size was loved and loved by Thomas and Cougar and kept being dumped in water bowl so the cat slave wanted a large one so they couldn't pick up so easily and drown the poor thing so so we made one.. a giant one ;D
and it's gone down a treat lol it's teddy bear size
what do ya fink about doing this size on the shop?
-
I'd say go for it, Tan! :wow:
I know Sly would go  for this, what I would suggest though is compartmentalising the design as he will gnaw it until it bursts, then presumably the whole load of stuffing would come out.
So how about a Caterpillar design with several stitched "segments"? A bit like this one?
http://michaels.lionbrand.com/patterns/80796AD.html
Caterpillar would have four or five "lives" so would justify a higher price, mefinks :sneaky: ;).
-
that's a great idea ;D ;D I will have a word with me best mate who makes the toys ;D
-
We made our own homemade catnip teddy bear which involved a charity shop bear, some dried catnip and plenty of reinforced stitching to repair the hole. This is Ginger's favourite toy, she attacks it, drools on it and sleeps with it in her favourite bed so a giant valerian filled teddy? Where so I sign up for first dibs? Hehe

Look at the size of that Puddin!
