hey all my name is Trudy, i have one cat Mr Kipling who we got last march so he is nearly a year old, anyway yesterday we got a new kitten, Chilli,
he is 3 months, kipling keeps chasing chilli and the run around and they pounce on each other is this normal, there is no scratching or and blood but i have only ever had one cat so i dont know if this is normal.
Thanks in advance

Sounds like its normal play fighting which also can be very noisy :shify: :shify:
Keep a close eye on them for the next couple of weeks to make sure nobody is getting hurt, especially the kitten who is likely much smaller

It sounds as though they are getting along fine.
Keep an eye on them to ensure they are taking it on turns to chase each other and it isn't all mr kipling doing the chasing - if it is it might be best not to leave them alone together just in case things turn from playing into fighting.

hi Gill yep its very noisy lol but so fun to watch, there is no blood or anything, they keep touching noses but dont seem to show any other affection towards each other or am i expecting to much to soon x

Hi Trudy
Welsome to Purrs. I have always been a 1 cat woman so I can't really say but lots of people have more than 1 cat on here and they will be able to help you out. Just keep your questions coming we are all here to help each other and our cats.
Would be great to see photos of them - we adore LOTS of photos on Purrs :Luv2:
