This is George (named by the lady who's been looking after him). He's been with me nearly 3 weeks now. He'd been a stray around my friend Liz's garden since summer last year, he couldnt stay with her, so we finally got him into rescue - and it just so happened I was the first one of our fosterers to have a space. He's now been vet checked and neutered - vet reckons he's around 1yr-18months old - and he's a really soppy boy now he trusts me (he was a bit wary to begin with) - AND I might have a home for him already! possibly with another friend of mine!

Aww, very cute and pudgy. :Luv: I wish I could have him.
-
Who could possibly resist that dear little dumpling? :Luv2:
-
Phwoar :drool;
Fingers crossed the potential home works out ;D
-
He is a lovely boy (bit noisy though, apparently, (I've not actually heard him miaowing except when I'm just coming to feed him - neighbours have heard him during the night! - oh dear, there'll be a noise nusiance letter winging its way to me again!! :scared: )
Just taken in 3 more today - from the same home, mum Saffy tabby and white, daughter Jasper, black (? - yes female lol!) and brother of Saffy, Sooty, black and white - bit confusing as I keep wanting to call the all black one Sooty :) Saffy and Sooty are about 7 yrs, Jasper (think I'll call her Jas - or Jazz I suppose :) ) around 6 yrs. They are all hissing and growling at each other - poor souls. :(
-
Gorgeous Boy!! :)

George is gorgeous :Luv2: - hope the other three soon settle - how many pens have you got ?
I've got 2 pens built by the Trust - they are side by side, separated by a food prep area in the middle. Each side has a sleeping compartment with raised shelf and a run area, also with shelf where they can look out into the garden.
I've also got my own shed (converted into a home from home ;) with run attached, for Chico's daytime accommodation. :) (He's just B&B you see - he goes out for the day, then comes in for the evening lol! )
-
I think your neighbours are a bit of a pain and just trying to cause trouble!
-
Well George is now inside in the dining room :tired: - his wailing and yowling outside in the pen wasnt being tolerated by neighbours (mind you, don't blame 'em really!) So now I'm the only one suffering :tired: :tired: (I think I've been her before - with Chico..... )
-
Oh my .....would you like Franta too
-
awww George is lovely :)

Oh my .....would you like Franta too
Noooo!
Think George got unsettled by the 3 fosters that arrived together in the other pen because thats when the yelling got worse! Anyway, its worked out okay (ish), because the 3 that came together don't like each other much, so I've split them up and one has gone in the pen George was in - bit of a reshuffle :evillaugh:
-
George is one hell of a hunk Gillian - is your friend definately having him? Hope so. :Luv2:
You're gonna have a right collection of foster cat photos - perhaps wallpaper a wall in your grooming room?
Mary
-
No, unfortunately not - her OH has put his foot down :(
So George is on the Trust website now looking for a home where all residents have a good supply of earplugs lol! :naughty:
-
Definitely on a roll!!! Now George has some serious potential new owners - a family came to see him yesterday and were besotted with him and want to adopt. Nice family, so will do a homecheck next week and all being well, he may be off to his new home by the weekend! :wow:
Goodness, I may be able to reclaim my house soon lol!
-
That's good news, although I must admit I am jealous.
-
Seemed to have missed this one - Oh my he is just so cuddly and looks a darling (except for the yowling) :Luv2: :Luv2:
Hope the home check goes well and George gets his forever home
-
That's great for George but you do realise that it's one out and another one in don't you Gillian. Your House will never be your own. ;)
Mary
-
:crossed: for the homecheck and hope the roll continues!
-
Did the homecheck today and I asked when they would like him - they said can we come and get him later on today! So little George went off to his new home about 6pm, he was panicking a bit in the carrier - I hate this bit, you can't tell them that its all going to be alright in the end :( , but I know its good home and they are going to love him :)
-
I am so pleased that the handsome George has found a loving home :)
-
:wooooo: - :1st place: George :wow: How many cats in how many weeks is it now Gillian?

Saffie, George and Coco in about 2 weeks! although Coco has been reserved for the past 4 weeks!
Well done you, so pleased for gorgeous George. :Luv2:
Not too many tears I hope.
No tears for George (just anxious he's going to settle ok) - now, when it comes to Coco, thats going to be a different matter altogether........
-
Brilliant for George and can understand how you will feel when Coco goes to new home
-
I think I have fallen in love! :Luv2:
-
George is gorgeous. What fabulous news that he has a new home. :Luv:
-
Brill news hun ;D
-
What a babe. Hope he loves his forever home.
-
I've phoned his new owners today - and he's doing well ;D Not a good journey home for them (or him :( ) its about a 40 min drive and he's not good in the carrier, gets very scared. He was quite withdrawn the first evening, not surprisingly, but he's bounced back, eating fine, interacting with them, ....apparently he spends a lot of time in the son's room, crashed out flat on his back on the bed lol! I think he'll be fine :)
-
Gillian, it certainly sounds like George has made himself at home. ;D
-
George sounds well at home on the bed ;) :Luv2:
Mary
