Hi everyone,
Just thought i'd give a quick update on Lacie's health as she had her check up today
Her blood test showed that her diabetes is still well controlled and also that her kidney values have improved again! ;D
I'm very happy because although she has given me no cause for worry, I'm a born worrier and always expect bad news so double good news is great!
She does have to go on a diet though! We are gonna cut her food down a little and try to encourage her to exercise more because she tipped the scales at 6.2kg tonight!
She should be between 5 & 5.5kg because she is a large framed cat. She needs to get rid of her 'holiday' weight like her meowmy and daddy! :evillaugh:

Thats brilliant news Hun - thanks for the update and big  for Lacie xxx

Thats great news ;D ;D

Glad to hear she's doing so well after the scare last year. :)
Sweep was 6.2kg at his heaviest, but we managed to get him to lose 1kg on a strict diet over a 12 month period.

:) Diet started today and also managed to get her to do some exercise too! We had a play this morning and then I made her go up and down the stairs with me....I think I confused her :evillaugh:

If you haven't already got one try the 'Catch the Fishy - Torch pointer Toy' from the Purrs shop - that will send her racing round the house like a lunatic and lose a few calories! :sneaky:
