Sadly have found another mammary lump on Delphi.
It is on the same side as the one that was removed 6 months ago but smaller.
She doesn't seem to be affected by it at the moment, but am going to the vets tomorrow to discuss things.
I have a lot of soul searching over the next day or so. Please send lots of healing hugs and prayers.
-
Sending you lots of these    and positive vibes for Delphi.

Wishing you & Delphi good luck - I hope it isn't a tumour

Sadly the last lump that was removed was an aggressive adenocarcinoma.
She does have a good quality of life at the moment so have booked surgery time for next week.
-
 for you and Delphi
-
I'm so sorry the lovely Delphi and you have to go through this again, Philip
but I know you'll see it through together, with Delphi's comfort and wellbeing being paramount as always
-
I'm sorry we have to go through it all again, but I cant give up on her all the time she seems happy.
Which she does. She even purred at the vets today and enjoyed the drive.
We went to pets at home on the way back to get her some food.
So surgery booked for next Tuesday. She will have an IV drip and a chest xray post procedure.
So saying lots of prayers for Tuesday.

Thank you.
Delphi had 3 lumps removed this time. one lump approx 1.5cm across and two very small pea shaped lumps that were close by.
I have her home and she has eaten a little.
This morning she seemed a very flat so have spent the whole day at work worrying.
Tonight, she has eaten some more but I don't feel the recovery is as strong as last time we went through this.
So I guess all I can do is give good nursing care and believe in hope.
-
Sending loads of hope and many good wishes

Hi.
She's on regular pain killers and I am syringe feeding her at the moment.
So still hoping but not out of the woods yet.
-
Still keeping fingers, toes and paws crossed here x
-
Delphi had her stitches out yesterday.
The vet found a new lump where the large lump she removed was before.
She thinks its scar tissue from the subcutaneous suturing she had to do, but I need to keep an eye on it as it could be new tumour growth which sadly can happen.
So am hoping the lump shrinks in the next 2 weeks or doesn't change. It does feel different. Its spherical whereas the tumour growths felt like an odd shape.
So here's hoping.......
-
I hope it is nothing
-
Fingers crossed for her
-
Keeping fingers and toes crossed firmly for you xx
