Title: Please send healing vibes for Lucy

Little Lucy came into my local independent rescue as an emergency case. She had severe wounds on her body which the vet likened to "someone trying to skin a cat"  >:(

She recently went back to the vets for a further operation on the wounds. Here she is on their web-site,

(This is not ALUK but local independent charity reg. no 272741)

Hoping that the second operation works for little Lucy and it won't be long before her new forever home is found.

Awww that is awful, poor Lucy. I hope she recovers quickly so she can find a loving new home :)

How can anyone allow or do that to such a beautiful cat.  Hope Lucy gets better soon and finds a loving forever home that she deserves in life.

Poor baby  :'( I never cease to be astounded at how cruel humans can be  :(

Just to let you all know, that Lucy's horrific knife injuries healed up after her second operation. She has also found a new forever home  ;D

Now the rescue has had one of the kittens from a litter born at the rescue diagnosed as special needs. A little male black kitten aged 11 weeks called Simon. Sounds like he may be a CH kitten so will need a very special home. When I have further info I will create a new thread.

Hope the little CH kitten can find the purrrfect home, they do exist as Teresa can testify to as she has homed several CH cats  :hug:
