Today started like any other day
Maybe that’s as well, for if we'd known we were going to be saying goodbye to you, how much harder that would have made things.
You moved in here before I did (I often think if you’d been human that you and your "Dad" would never have needed anyone else.
You were a clever little girl - finding someone who was not only a kitty-loving bachelor, but someone who you could get so firmly under your paw !
The first day you ventured into the flat. I wonder what you thought ? I’m told you had a high old time checking out the possibilities ! And back then in 1998, of course, you were only young still. But old enough to know your own mind !
Bit by bit, you stayed longer on each "visit" and finally, you moved in full time And your Dad welcomed you with open arms and a little pink, girlie kitty dish.
Do you remember joining in with tea and cake with us I’d never met a cat who ate blueberry muffin before !
And back then I had MUCH longer hair. Remember sitting on the bed, while I sat on the floor, you swiping at my hair and chewing my plait ? ! And jumping on my feet when they emerged from under my skirt !
Oh and talking of beds ... YOU slept each night on top of your Dad. Little Miss organic-hot-water bottle cat ! With your soft, warm fury tummy who could ask for more ?
And here you lived, very happily. When I moved in too you accepted me without too much bother, and although I’m not sure what you thought when Mr T (Thomas), your nephew, joined us with your lovely nature you made the best of things. I remember the two of you curled up together on the sofa – and we had had “his” and “hers” kitties !
When Mr T joined us, I found my way to Purrs – and that’s when things really became fun! With you making cakes for Charlie’s Army and CAKE – Cats Against Kitties Enemies . Hosting parties, making birthday cakes and getting up to all sorts of adventures. Becoming engaged to Charlie ..... Trying to stop Mr T from eating too much or getting too drunk !
Of course, we lost Mr T back in late July of this year and by some strange co-incidence, its almost 5 months to the day that you have joined him.
Mr T was sick for some time and we were prepared.
Not today, though – the whole thing was so sudden and so unexpected.
We said our goodbyes – whatever we said and whatever I write her can never be enough. For such a small cat you managed to bring so much joy into Kieron’s life, and mine too of course.
Normally I’d say “Sleep well, Chloe until we all meet again” Somehow, this time, it doesn’t seem appropriate. I imagine you now making new friends, swapping recipes – greeting Mr T with big hugs and your sister, Molly too – the whole family re-united
Bright Blessings, Chloe until we meet up with you again

What a smart girl Chloe Cat was. I'm sure she'll be keeping the others in line at the Bridge; sounds like she was a "no nonsense" kind of girl. :care:

Chloe, Bless your little paws I think youve been a busy girl ! :Luv: And there's no doubt Mr T had a paw in this too ! :Luv:
For you've sent us two new companions. On Saturday - if all goes to plan - two cats whom I sure you have sent to us will move in
You may not be here with us in body, but my goodness you are still with us in Spirit.
Blessings to both of you and so much love - we can never thank you enough for being our friends and such a BIG part of our family
