Oh bless - has he been shaved? Surely he has?
He's not ugly, he has a lovely face ;D

I thought it was going to be a Persian :innocent:
-
I Think its some kind of Sphynx, the usually totally hairless cats
-
There is some breeds of cat that are prone to hair loss for no apparent reason besides the Sphinx breed so think it could be a case of one of those breeds or even a Sphinx cross with a long haired breed of cat.
-
I did think about sphinx but the fact that there is longish hair on part of the body made me wonder whether the cat had been shaved. It seems funny that hair loss is so even over the body (ie no hair at all) but none on the tummy.

There's no such thing as an ugly cat!
Humans, yes.

I thought this was an old story and see the date is in 2009. My mate tried to show it to me on BBC site earlier today after I was showing her a beautiful Sphynx cat :). Wonder if she was responsible for resurrecting the story on BBC website? I refused to watch on basis that no such thing as an ugly cat :)

I think Bat Boy is ace.... :)
-
I agree, no ugly cats.
Even the strangest looking ones have something gorgeous about them.

Beauty truly does come from within. I love looking at, thinking about and hearing about your darling boys and girls because of their personalities - Mikey is a prime example. He has the cheekiest face, the cutest nappy and the twinkliest eyes but we :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: him because he is ... Mikey. :Luv:

If you look when it is walking you will notice a hair line running all the way down from chest to back legs.

Saw pics of that cat ages last year. There's a cat that lives at the Animals at Risk shelter that looks similar, bit more fur tho http://www.animals-at-risk-shelter.org/Gallery/image9.htm

Yes, it's definitely been resurrected. I've seen the article before too. I think he's lovely!
