Whilst looking at Animal search I saw a cat found (with a good pic) and looked on the lost registers - as you do and found a very good match. Often these don't tie up but sent a message anyway.
But guess what - just had an e-mail from the owner - it is him and he has been missing since July. He is now safely at home :wow:

Woo Hoo - on a roll! Nice work Edd, such a great feeling isn't it :) Just a shame they both had to endure the vile conditions of the last few weeks :(
-
Thats brilliant Edd..............well done ;D
-
Just had another e-mail from the lady - she is off to get him salmon and prawns :)
If it had not been for looking at the pictures of Lia, I probably would not have seen it so I like to think Lia played a big part in getting this cat home.

Well done Edd. Luck is supposed to go in threes so lets hope that Becka's cat Thmble is number 3 :wish:
-
well done, they must be delighted!

Incredible, missing since July? That's fantastic, and gives hope to other people whose cats are still missing.

wonderful news

Thought you all might want to see the puss cat - he is called Oscar.
His owner is currently abroad so he is currently with a friend of the owners. He had been living under a shed in a garden since at least mid-november - still with his collar on (which had the phone no on the inside apparently) and the finder posted him as a Found Cat on another national register on 4/5th December.

So the owner will be reunited with him tomorrow when she returns to the UK. Hoping she will give me an update as she has been e-mailing me.

What a handsome boy :Luv: Have you got a link to the found entry? Just to compare and contrast!

Thought it was a good match. The owner had also registered on Animal Search but thought the pictures not such a good match :

Hope the lady does not mind me posting these on here :-:

Just had another e-mail from Oscar's owner with the cutest picture of Oscar at home today.
The owner arrived back in the UK yesterday and was reunited with him. He has been to the vets and has not lost any weight and the vet felt he was in very good condition bearing in mind he had been missing since July. At home he is loving the cuddles, playing with his toys and eating well. ;D
She is overjoyed to have her Oscar back who is being spoilt rotten but under "house arrest" for some time to come. :evillaugh:

So pleased ;D

Well done you :)

Awww bless that's amazing - well done Edd, Oscar's owner must be over the moon :wow:
