As the title asks. Just wondering really.
Memphis always, and I do mean always, comes and finds me and gives me a couple of little squeaks as if to say "thank you" :Luv2: :Luv2:
Tis really sweet, so just wondering if your cats have something that they do after they've eaten.

Same as Daisy, except when I'm in bed so she just flops down next to me.
-
Dave goes straight outside for a poo after breakfast, regular as clockwork is Dave :evillaugh: Then he comes back in, has a wash and if I'm at home he'll have a snuggle and sleep in bed with me.
Chilli goes straight out.
After dinner they go to one of their favourite spots and have a wash and a sleep.
I get no thanks for my slave duties :evillaugh:

Elvis runs around like a mad man straight after a feed.

Aw bless Memphis, what a sweety :Luv: I'm another one who gets no gratitude but Pepsi is a gradual eater, she only has a couple of mouthfuls and then just runs back into the front room and potters about or comes for a lie down and licks her chops a few times :evillaugh:

Have a wash and go back to their heated beds most of the time -i do get kisses later though.

They eat their food and two come for their meds then they all go upstairs and back to bed as they know the cat gobbler (hoover) comes out downstairs. About 2 hours after Domino comes back down for his mid morning snack and will stare at me and then just flop after about 5 mins making out he is so weak from starvation just his subtle hints and I get a look of disgust from him.
After his mid morning snack he is back to his bed until mid afternoon then same performance as mid morning     if I am crocheting or knitting he will examine the pattern then glare at me    until he is fed.
Tea time he goes and stands in front of the TV until he is fed and supper he will saunter down around 10pm for food, yes he has 5 meals a day

Usually have a wash then settle down for sleep/cuddles in Jaffa's case or demand attention and play in Mosi's case. For some reason, Mosi always wants to run around a play after he's eaten!

My Tilly has a wash after a meal, Jumpy just goes back to sleep. Mind you, at 16 he does a lot of sleeping. :briggin:

Indie eats a little bit then waits for Ember to finish first before going back to the bowls after a quick groom ;) Ember eats then stops and goes fro a poop (to make more room) before going back to the food bowl :shify: Fig sits on the table after she finishes her cat milk and will graze feed (she is the only one fo my 3 that does this, the other two gobble it down as if I have never fed them before)
I normally get screamed at by all 3 cats until the food and milk and down in a morning and then they will come fro cuddles after they are full, have pooped or peed and cleaned :Luv:

Remy just wanders off.
Milo scrapes frantically round the bowl as if to bury it, driving me up the wall in the process.

Milo is actually exhibiting natural behaviour by trying to bury his bowl as it is to stop predators from taking the food so that it is there for Milo to come back to.

If it's her wet food dinner or breakfast Sadie will eat as much as she can then wander over to the big windows, look out one side for 5 mins, look out the other for another five mins then either go to sleep or play with her mouse. If she's having her biscuits last thing she'll finish them and without fail, come into the bedroom and sit in her corner having a wash before wandering out and having a poop.

I know it's natural behaviour, but I wish I could explain to him he doesn't need to bother!
It's the same when he goes to the litter tray - lots of excavating, scraping and burying , which is fine by me. But then he exits the litter tray, goes and 'buries' the water bowl in the bedroom, goes to the kitchen to 'bury' the food bowl', and then 'buries' the water bowl in the living room.
Just a tad OTT. If a cat could be OCD, then Milo might qualify!

My lot have a drink then find a nice spot for a nap ...
-
Mine cover their food bowls over with anything they can find.

In Luna's case it's eat some of her food, stick her head in Hobbes' bowl while he is eating and pinch some of his, go back to hers when I chase her then go back to Hobbes' to finish his off  After which she will go for a wash, stick her paw in the water bowl to reassure herself that yes it is still wet  , dash off for a mad half hour then have a snooze. Hobbes just eats, has a wash then goes to sleep :Luv2:

Pooty normally has a wash followed by a lie down, its hard work all that eating you know :)
