Just had to share today's pic of Millie with Groucho in background. I think they're very easy on the eye :Luv: :Luv:

I love black cats, we don't have one at the moment because oh handreared feral Bluto was black and we felt bad once he'd gone getting another but hope that in the future another black cat will join us (I certainly wouldn't get another white one :evillaugh:)
-
Fabulous cats, black cats are so elegant aren't they? It's hard to understand why they get overlooked in Rescue centres.
Here are Malachi and Merlin again, playing a few days ago (and I can hardly believe that green garden behind them as it's now covered in a ton of snow!)

Daisy told me to tell you not to overlook the black & white cats either, who are also overlooked at the sancturarys...
-
Gorgeous! :Luv:
-
Rosella they are soooo sleek and shiny and gorgeous. :Luv2:
Love the pic of the other 2 too :Luv2:
Still miss my Smudge after 3 years R.I.P.

Millie, Groucho, Malchi and Merlin are all so sleek and exotic looking. :Luv2: Don't understand why they get overlooked either, to me they look like they could be pedigrees.
When I was offered Noah it was pointed out by the CP lady that white fur gets everywhere, which seemed quite an odd warning until I learned that white cats are often overlooked for that reason. He blends in so beautifully here, Noah looks like a designer cat chosen to match the furnishings (although I never ever EVER look smart in dark clothing  ).

they are all gorgeous. I've never had a black cat but we did once have a lovely black and white rescue persian called Sasha. Ever since I've had a soft spot for long haired B & W cats. Originally we weren't going to take Sasha but we were going to take the torti and white called Sushi she shared a pen with. We got the carrier in the pen to get Sushi and in jumped Sasha. Needless to say they both came home with us as we didn't then have the heart to take her out and leave her.

Hey, is this turning into another full on black cat fest....? If so, here's my Big Lad again - I miss him, my Panther Boy.
-
Oh here goes for my medley of black. Have spoken to someone at LCB and they told me at the moment they have an exceptionally high amount of B&W cats and black cats.
-
I adore pure black cats, and even though it will be hard having another one when Molly is no longer here, I think I will just because they get overlooked so much (as she did, she had been waiting over 12 months before I adopted her, although she spent the last 5 months of that being fostered by me). I have fostered a lot of black and whites too - that and torties were the most common colour for me.
-
They are all gorgeous, lovely to see the other pictures too. As a newbie I haven't seen them before.
-
I love black cats - and black and whites (Bloomsbury cats, as they're sometimes called).
Here's my Bass:
-
Bass is stunning!
-
OMG :Luv: how gorgeous they all are!! I am at work at the moment otherwise I would be adding Ember to the pic fest ;) Rosella I love this thread!! I have a black princess and a black and white hunk and agree people are made to over look them :Luv: Perphaps it is just me but black cats always seem to have that "you must acknowledge my entrance or exit from/to a room" charm (possibly more than others) :Luv2: Jack certainly did JackSpratt
-
He did indeed. That boy commanded a room....And seeing as black and white cats were mentioned, I can't miss an opportunity to put a picture of Carrie Bagpuss up.
-
Jack was indeed a little panther and Carrie such a beauty JS :Luv: :Luv:
Seeing as Carrie snuck in among the black uns, thought I'd share a group shot ...... They so love it near window now I've moved the furry reflector mat there ...
Left to right, Millie, Dinah, Ruby on chair and Groucho at front

and well mustn't overlook others :innocent: top to bottom, Billy Whiz, Freddie and Noni B

Carrie Bagpus looks like a cat I used to share a house with (she was my flatmate's), called Tumble. She had extra thumbs.
-
Ruby has extra thumbs too .... lots of em .... 2 on each front paw and dew claws on hind legs :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
-
Carrie Bagpuss was a law unto herself from start to finish. I miss her immensely too.
Rosella, I love seeing pictures of your mob. Groucho is turning into such a handsome growed up cat. ;)
-
:Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: All gorgeous photos!
I absolutely love black cats and always have, my hubby is the same too. Squeaky, Smokey, Timmy and Schui were all black cats and I so miss a black cat about the place. I'll dig some photos of mine out later :)
-
I like black cats too, i used to have a male called Spook.
-
I adore black cats - Baldrick was black and we have two other black cats plus a black and white one.
I'm bringing a grey one home from the yard soon - does that count towards the black count? I could always say he's a very pale black....
If I was looking for a cat from a rescue I'd choose a black or black & white one again, no doubt.
-
Carrie was indeed a law unto herself ... and quite the diva to boot ;)
Rosella I love the group shot ... all soooo adorable :Luv2: I can see why Noni fits so well :)
Im at work again so still can not add my Ember-babe >:( will add her friday after my nights i think :Luv:
All the pics on here are making me miss my furball munchkins :Luv: you guys have all got some great pics
-
Here's a piccie of my beautiful black boy Dillon before he "helped" with the Christmas tree. Why do cardboard boxes turn even the most elderly cats into skitty kittens again?
-
Here's my second yougest Clan black cat master Turbo advising he was hungry
-
Ember stretching and "helping me" pack boxes when we moved house :)
