Title: HOW COULD THEY?
Post by: Ela on April 15, 2007, 10:56:05 AM
Someone has just rung me saying they cannot get the RSPCA, (I don't think they answer the phones until about 11 o'clock. A cat has been found in a sneer and been spray painted. I have advised the they contact the National number and I am sure they will authorise the little one to be seen by a vet immediately. It is not in our area so that was the quickest option for it to get help. How anyone can inflict such cruelty is beyone me and I am sure all of you.

It is beyond me. We all know a cat will try to cean it's fur and probably poison itself in the process. I think this kind of scum should be removed. As I always say, if the culprits are mentally ill, they should be helped, if they aren't they should be executed. No ifs or buts.

I hope this poor little puss survives and gets over its terrible ordeal.  As for the scum who did this, they should be put in a snare and painted, see how they like it  :rage:

Sorry no, once I have referred to the Inspectorate, especially if they are out of our area, I am afraid I don't usually hear any more. I do always say though that if they won't help contact me immediately. They didn't so they must have received the help needed to save the little one.

Poor little babe......some people want stringing up by their  :censored:  I think in this situation I would have got him to the vets immediately and then worried about contacting the RSPCA.......they could not refuse this cat treatment regardless of anything, a vet has a duty of care to a suffering animal.  I hope the little one pulled through and he's reunited with his owners.  And I hope the  :censored: that did this, rot in hell  :evillaugh:

I personally could do nothing as it was miles away from our area. However, if you contact the RSPCA inspectorate they will often contact a vet immediately and authorise the finder to take the cat to that vet. If it not always necessary to wait for an inspector to come and pick it up. Find you finding a vet out of hours is another story.
