Title: RIP - Binky
Post by: Angiew on April 13, 2007, 15:37:14 PM
Just wanted to say goodbye to Binky. Poor lad was run over this morning and never got to finish his apprentiship. He's now laid to rest with the others in the garden.

So it seems all the worrying that I did for him and Goose in the past year was justified.

I shall still allow the others their freedom and hope that Goose will learn quickly. The woman who did it did not stop. A lady was walking her dog and saw the accident and carried his body to us. She said the car was going quite fast and pointed the car out to us down the road. We had some quiet words about how she should have stopped to check, though for him it would not have mattered.

Tell Fang we still miss him loads - though I reckon he knows that.

I am so very sorry to hear this Angie, I was shocked when I saw the title. So annoying that she didn't stop, but at least someone cared enough to bring him to you. RIP little one, another one sadly taken too young.

So sorry for the loss of Binky, only ever borrowed never owned but always a pawprint in your heart :(

It is the hardest thing to do to let the others out after something like this I know I had my heart in my mouth and they carried on as normal

RIP Binky.

And thank you to the kind lady who respected you enough to take you home, so they knew what had happened.

Angie I'm so sorry. Seems only yesterday we saw those early pictures of him and Goose.
