thats lovely story

my granny has an old photo of my great grannys cat who adopted and fed alongside her own kittens 2 baby rabbits, they must have been hard pushed for news back in them days as it made the headlines in a local paper.

Maybe she is just keeping the mouse nearby so she can train the kittens in the art of "mouse catching!"  ;)

Lovely!! My 365 cats calendar for 18th April shows Becky the cat with her pet mouse. They share the same sleeoping quarters and Becky often plants a big kiss on the mouse's mouth! :wow:
