It was scarily (and noisily) windy last night. Jaffa and Mosi were a bit freaked out by it all, esp Mosi who became extremely hyper. Is that normal? I do have trees very close to my flat front and back so obviously the sound of the wind rustling through them and the sight of leaves flying around will have contributed. They both seemed very uneasy.

another marshmellow story?

Lol Angie!!
Our old family dog Barney used to go mad if he was out when it was really windy, he loved it and got really hyper.
My lot were going a bit mad last night, running round and making lots of noise upstairs...hadn't even thought about the wind but it could have been!!

Hmmm don't know about the wind affecting behaviour my 7 felines have been behaving strange now for about 3 weeks, being very hyper and mischievous, even my old girl of 17 years old has been playing frantically from waking at around 9am until around midnight with the odd cat nap to recharge their batteries.
Have given them Reiki to see if that helped but they have still been upto all sorts of stuff, from attacking wool whilst it is being used to getting into stuff they should not be getting into (cupboard door opens for 2 seconds and cat is in it) which is not the normal for any of them.

Very windy here last night too and Hobbes was not a happy boy, very spooked by the whole thing. Luna of course was not bothered at all but then she is quite often manic
-
I find that all mine seem to get extra manic in windy weather, maybe its the noise ot the moving shadows
-
Poot really hates the noise of the wind whistling round the roof, it completely spooks him and he won't go any where near the window ledge that he usually sits on all the time.
-
Doesn't seem to bother Bonnie but my Smudge RIP was scared of the wind. Looks like Gill's Franta might be acting funny with it too.
My road was full of wheelie bins yesterday after they'd been emptied - glad I was in to be able to move mine from the pavement where they are left before it blew away.
Hope everyones cats are back to normal soon.

Yes, I'd say that is pretty normal ;)
all through the years with Hamish and Misty, Both would have mental spinnys when it was very windy
don't know why tho, never thought about it :shy: :evillaugh:
then again, in saying that Madam Olivia is not phased by anything and the wind does not affect Her :-:

Looks like it was the wind with Franta cos he seems to have calmed down again, I was so worried he was getting ill again.
-
I'm just so glad it was the wind outside and not the wind from the other end :evillaugh: :naughty:  :innocent:

I know windy weather affects Archie but also think it affects Parki too. The two of them have been chasing each other more than usual :evillaugh:
