I have checked with Tan who said it would be okay to post this:
I am trying to raise soem funds to help out with the vets bill for Navahoe - he is doing really well and I will get a full update this weekend
If anyone would like to donate the vets details are below:
Pilgrim Veterinary Surgery
Fydell Street
Boston
Lincs
PE21 8LE
His account is Welfare - Navahoe and the cheque needs to be payable to Pilgrim Vet and "Navahoe" needs to be written on the back of the cheque in the top corner.
Thanks everyone xxx

I have just posted an update on the other Navahoe thread
-
Just bumping this up x
-
How's he doing Sheryl? The same, or any improvement?
-
Still pretty much the same at the moment - the vet thinks it is going to be a bit of an uphill struggle to get him to use his "good" leg properly.
-
:tired: Poor boy. And all because someone felt it acceptable to confine him in such a ridiculously small, inadequate run.
-
Chq posting tomorrow hun
-
Huge thanks Tan and to anyone else that has made a donation
-
Bumping up again - as they say "every little helps"

Hi Sheryl
Wondering any news on how Navahoe is doing?
-
Posted the pictures sent in an album on facebook with info for vet donations. Hope that's OK - it's set to friends only.
-
Thanks JS, can you post a link to the FB thread please
Huge thanks to those who have donated - especially one special lady who has donated twice! you know who you are and we cant thank you enough
I am pleased to say that Navahoe is doing well, he is settled and happy. He is starting to use his "good" leg more now and has even tried to stretch his "bad" leg.
Below are a couple of copies from Jackys Blog:
Dr Katey Bliss-Brown of DC Diagnostics kindly screened Navahoe negative FREE OF CHARGE for parasites such as isospra, tf, giardia, worms. Dr Katey Bliss-Brown has also offered to carry out a nasal swab FREE OF CHARGE.
Navahoe is enjoying life, and is using his legs more and more. His nickname seems to be "dustbin" as he will eat whatever you put in front of him - dry or wet.
and
Navahoe update
Yesterday (9 November)
Navahoe had his first hour in our garden - he may not stretch his back legs out properly but my goodness he can move fast when he wants to.
Navahoe really enjoyed himself trying to outwit Tim, and it was a pleasure seeing Navahoe search around the area - he loved the chickens and was drawn to them most of the time. We did manage to get him to play with some twigs for a few minutes but he preferred being with the chickens. Tim then scooped him up in his arms and Navahoe went back to his pen and straight to his biscuit, then to bed for a rest.
Navahoe is a lovely boy who just sits there when you hold him in your arms for a cuddle - at no time has this boy shown any aggresion to anyone or anything.

Hi Sheryl
Wondering if there was any news on how the handsome Navahoe is doing ?
-
Edd, Navahoe is doing really well and already has a new home lined up. ;)
-
Thanks JS - Navahoe is adorable Edd and if I didnt already have 6 furbabies I wouldnt have hesitated in giving him a forever home - the vet is really happy with his progress and is convinced that as his muscles continue to get stronger he will cotinue to use his "good" leg more and more.
He will soon be off to his forever home and I really wish him all the love and happiness he so deserves :Luv2:
-
That is good to hear - hope we get an update when he has gone to his new home as well :innocent:
Thanks to you guys JS and Sheryl (and not forgetting your friend Jacky who has been caring for him) this handsome guy is getting a chance of a happy life as a cat.
-
I'd love updates on him. Seeing him in that pen (and the other cats who I HOPE something is being done about by the appropriate authorities) literally reduced me to tears when I got home.
He's a sweet boy and I'm so glad Jacky had space for him.
