Title: Our "shy" cat
Post by: jezebel on October 25, 2010, 20:21:48 PM
This is our "shy" cat Bass the other night at bedtime - OH was lying on the bed talking to her and she seemed to overcome her shyness! (And please, no funny comments about where he must have been talking out of!)

Cheeky girl!  :Luv: she was getting herself nice and comfy at the same time ensuring her Dad was in maximum discomfort position  :evillaugh:

It's a funny picture but it also means so much to see her finally doing normal cat things like this. She still spends most of her time in the bedroom but at least she's on the bed now rather than in a dark corner, and she comes out a lot - several times each evening now - to go into the kitchen, even occasionally coming into the living room to have a look around. Also, she's making lots of eye contact with us and even chatting to us. It feels like very slow progress but she's definitely getting there!
