Title: Does your cat's name change on a daily basis?!

When Possum was alive, we found ourselves calling her a multitude of names...

Her original name was Ebony....which then became Possum (Alex thought it was cute). THEN, she became either of the following:

Daddy’s little kooky possum
My little furry cherub
Kooky-poss
Possflap
Possywoss
Baby girl
Pumpkin-face (don't ask!)

Now we have Cooper and Peanut (who started off as Toby and Miffy). They have now morphed into the following:

Coops
Coopy
Coopy poops
Cooper Pooper Scooper
Cooper Trooper (lights are gonna blind me.... :evillaugh:)

Peanie
Peanie weanie
Peanot grigio
Peano noir (not that I'm obessed with wine or anything.....ahem.... :-:)
Peans

I'm sure by the time they reach their 10th birthday, we'll have invented at least 50 more nick names!  :rofl:

Actually they don't they are only called by their names. Never thought about it till now but never call them anything other then Ella and Effie - or the girls or the kray Twins  if collectively discussing them with Sean!

Mummys precious little princess
Lazy bum

I always thought she knew her name but maybe with all those to remember it is just the tone she responds to!  ;D

I can often get carried away with all the silly childish cat speak and name changes and then Alex has to step in and gag me  :rofl:

Mine probably have hundreds of extra names!  :evillaugh:

Flavours of the month are: Riles, Ridey, Rides, RiRi, Lukey, Lu-ee, LuLu, Biggest (for Riley), Littlest (for Lucas), Riley-dog, Riley-beast, Riley Bear, LuLu Bear, Lu-dudes, Big Bear (for Riley), Little Bear (for Lucas)...

Pepsi is Pepsicat, Pep, gorgeous, lovely, Pepsi-weps, Pepsiface. Darcy is Mister Darcy, Darcyface, Darcycat, Darcy Warcy, Cuddlebum and Si calls him Scruffy  :innocent:

Hehe! Lacie gets called Lace, lacie lou, laylaybum, laylaymoo, laylaymoomaymay, moomoo, mittens, moomin, moominmama, little my, snarf maiden, mookiebum, monster, monkeybum, princess, biscuit monster.....  :evillaugh:

Dumple-Drawers
Dumpling
(etc, etc)

In fact, Monty is just about the only thing he doesn't get called!

Lily and CoCo's have their names altered all the time.. I dunno where these names come from, but they always stick.......
OK, here goes..

Lily: Lily Mouse, Mrs Mouse (because sometimes she makes a funny squeak when you pick her up or when she gets excited because there's food about!) Minky, Minnie Mink, Lilypants, Chunky Puss, Minky Mush, Mush, Lilybum.

CoCo: CoCo Pop (obv!) Moogie Bear, Cookie Bear, Mookie, Cokies, Chocolate bum, Kitten.:)

I edited my post when I realised i'd missed some of Lacie's nicknames.....well i've remembered a few more!  :innocent:

She also gets called kitten, kitmits, mitmits, mipmips, babygirl and missy-pissy-paws.... (that one came after she did a wee in her carrier on the way home from a vet visit and covered my kitchen tiles in weewee pawprints! - the name comes from missy-pissy-pants which was a doll on south park!)

I'm sure i've still missed some.....this could go on forever  :innocent:

My OH used to call one of his parent's cats "pointy nosed little b***ard"

I think the term was used in a loving and supportive way...... :shify:
