Sorry about that guys but could not resist doing that to you especially with me having to wait to have time to run around town to be able to find somewhere that stocked safety eyes so I could get them and put them in and then sew it all up.

Let you off
Did you make it all yourself then? It's very cute.

Yes I made it myself and have just done a Japanese Shiba Inu as well but the Shiba Inu is definately for a rescue that I make toys for to raise money.
The Lilac Kitten was my first attempt at Amigurumi so was my test piece

He looks like he'll be a very low maintenance kitten, would you consider a swap for one of my boys? :naughty:

I'm not your friend anymore, I've repeatedly tried to make amigurumi and can't get the hang of it >:( I think maybe the wool is too fine so when I start trying to crochet in the round I can't see the knots and holes very well. *grumble grumble jealous grumble* :evillaugh:

Clare use double knitting wool, at least a 3.5mm hook and a light colour which is what I did with the cute kitten hence why it is lilac and not a colour such as black.
I have now graduated to 3mm crochet hook and so far have been able to do it in all colours that I have tried at the moment I am doing a Poinsettia table piece for family members xmas presents

Aye I think I'll give it another shot as I wanted to make some Christmassy decorations/presents too. I bought red because I wanted to do an apple but it's really thin wool. I watched youtube videos of how to do it because I can never follow written instructions, and I could see what the person in the video was doing, I just couldn't see the place they were putting the hook with my wool as it was too fine. Tbh I've lost a lot of enthusiasm/motivation for crafting in general recently, I have a huge stack of projects left half finished that I just can't be bothered to pick up again. I think I'd better try to find some motivation from somewhere as I've made a massive list of homemade presents that I want to make for people's Christmas boxes and time's running out!

I am doing some Poinsettia table decorations for family but can do the red petals but will be able to get the dark green and yellow on Saturday to get the first batch done with. Also have to try and fit some toy making in there as well as doing blankets. I have about 8 sets of Poinsettia's to do and then a lot of blankets and toys all by Christmas. Ah well does not look like much sleep for me in the next 10 weeks lol
