Title: Homemade Cat Towers?
Post by: Momma`Kat on September 26, 2010, 13:31:06 PM
I really wanna get a cat tower/condo for my kittys but they are SOO expensive! Has anyone successfully made a homemade thing that their kittys love?

There is a member on Purrs who makes cat posts and sells them for their rescue, sorry but I can't remember who it is now but I'm sure someone will be along to tell you and show you the pictures. There's also tutorials online on how to make your own, all you'd need is some offcuts of wood, sisal rope and fleecy fabric for covering, as well as nails etc. I imagine it would be pretty easy to do one youself, and you could make it elaborate as you wanted   ;D

I know a couple of years ago I managed to get a £500 activity center/scratch post/beds for cats that goes from floor to nearly the ceiling for around £65 including postage on Ebay.

I am now trying to find a new hammock bit for it and have even looked on here but they don't do it in blue fur  :(
