Title: Edited: as I now seem to live with Spider-cat
Post by: Guest on September 21, 2010, 19:45:00 PM
So i sat here patiently waiting for Tan to tell me how to play Purringo when Ella comes in. Now anyone that has seen my videos will know Ella is a loud cat that mioaws a lot! When I say a lot, I mean a lot!!  So anyway she walks in and starts wailing and keeps walking to the door. I get the impression she is channelling Lassie, so I put my shoes on and go out to the garden expecting to find a boy down the well. Not that we have a well, or a boy for that matter but I was caught up in a lassie moment.

Anyway I hear Effie crying so I panic.  Now after stone-gate I am worried sick and start calling her and she cries again. Meanwhile Ella, obviously still being directed by the ghost of lassie, walks straight over to the tree and shows me Effie.

Effie is stuck up a tree now when I say stuck up she is infact about 14 inches off the ground. Effie is not a climber and when she tries to climb anything she resembles King Kong climbing the Empire State. So she is stuck and scared and cannot get up or down. So I lift her and nuzzles into me like I have just saved her from death. Then I look up and their friend Silver calmly and gracefully walks down the tree from about 14 foot up like an expert. So anyway the three of them are running round the garden like loons.

Why do I have the mad cats!!!!

My Possum (RIP) was like that - such a noisy bogger!  :evillaugh:  I've never known a cat to meow and yowl and yodel as much as her... It's going to be very interesting to see how my new babies are with the old vocal chords.... :shify:

You should write a blog Simon, A day in the life of Effie 'n Ella! It would be sooooo much fun to read  ;D

Ha ha! My friends said that too. She mentioned prawns for her two on her facebook update and I thought I would try it but they never went near. Which was strange as Ella loves human food and she often tries to attack your plate with her go-go-gadget paws.

Question is "But were they off you plate or in their dishes?"

Cats always think everything is for them. Whatever is on my plate or in my hand, belongs to them  :evillaugh:
