I just don't understand some people, how is this considered reasonable? That poor cat being booted out now they have a new 'toy'.

When my sister came along I hated her (I was only a toddler myself, honestly!!) as far as I know my parents never considered dumping one of us!!

Some people could do with a lesson in compassion.  Also if the cat is 5 and has just had kittens I wonder how many other litters the poor little thing has had. I hope the new puppy is treated better than this poor girl.

Sounds like it could be a lucky escape for the mum cat, wonder how many litters she has had by the age of five?  :'(
