she is off the vet monday night (only chance I can get to see the owner) the last few weeks she has had bouts of really odd behaviour her skin on her back ripples and she starts running around like a looney like she is trying to leave her skin behind - I don't think she is in pain because if you distract her she stops and will tolerate firm stroking in the area on her back, I've a horrible feeling it might be that hyper thing that maddiesmum charlie has :( :(

I thought the same as you before I got to the end of it. Hopefully it isn't that, but at least you know it can be controlled or treated
-
My Gwynnie does this - but only certain times of the year - like about this time of year. She's been doing it the past few weeks. I checked her coat and - oops, found flea dirt! Hope its something simple like that with Amber
-
who did you have the problem with Mark??
Gillian yes I've flea combed her a few times and found nothing although am going to frontline them all this weekend just in case
-
Not sure Dawn but hope you find out what it is
-
Fingers crossed for Monday, hope it's something simple and easily sorted

None of them - I just meant that reading your post, I guessed hyper-t before I got to the bit where you said you thought it might be that. Hopefully not though.

Hope you get good news about Amber, Dawn.
-
Hope its nothing to worry about hun
-
Franta does this and aslo Ducha, they dont ripple much but suddenly its like a herd of elephants upstairs , hope there is nothing to worry about
-
she seems to do it after she eats it could just be a coincedence of course because that is when I am around to see her do it - if you call her and fuss her she seems to forget its hyperesthesia I am thinking of but hope I will find out more tomorrow
-
looks like the problem may have been whiskas simply - she has been creepy skin free for 10 days since not being fed it
-
So glad that you have found the problem Dawn
-
Hey that's good news then Dawn - nice and simple to solve :)

luckily my vet is more down to earth than me lol! his first thought was fleas second food, she said lets try the simple things first and he was right!

I'm the same, always thinking the worst rather than ruling out the simple things first!
