bought this at much reduced price from Zooplus, and Trigger is keener on it than Dreamies or Temptations - have never in his 10 years known him to go for a dry food like he does this one
and its no grain high meat content premium food
BUT their website says they are discontinuing exports to the UK - which will be why Zooplus are discounting it
dilemma is, as the BB date is May 2011, do I lay up a stock and then take it away from him when I eventually run out, or do I ration the 2 kgs I have and basically use it as an occasional treat?
does anyone else use it?

Tricky one. I remember when Willow got into a premium food made by Mars - I forget the name, but she would eat little else. They stopped selling it in the UK. It was about £5 for a box of 12 pouches here. The only other place that sold it was Zooplus but they sold it in 4s for about £5  - It looks as if they have stopped selling it as well.

If it was me I would prob stockpile it and then as I got down to the last couple of bags start mixing something else in.
-
well I've ordered 3 more from Zooplus
what's the betting the day they arrive is the day he decides he doesn't like it anymore :shify:

Wow, it must be super tasty then! I think I'd stockpile and then as Lottie suggests gradually mix in with something else when the time comes.
I just looked it up - sounds good enough to eat! Taste of the Wild – Rocky Mountain cat food is made in USA from roasted venison and smoked salmon. This recipe is supplemented with sweet potatoes and peas

probably doesn't affect anyone else, but just in case
I contacted the American manufacturer, and have just heard that UK based companies will no longer be able to obtain A Taste of the Wild, Zooplus's stock comes from France so it will go on being able to offer it
Trigger is so pleased - he shows no sign yet of going off it :crossed:
