I agree that it's meant to be a bit tongue in cheek. But everything that Eric did was either normal cat behaviour or due to stress/anxiety (e.g. hiding when they brought him home). They are obviously very ignorant owners who know very little about cat behaviour.

Post by: Daisymac on August 21, 2010, 11:19:20 AM: They should try living with JO Ripley, today alone he has chased Rosie Growler round the kitchen to the point she was so scared she jumped up onto a worktop and knocked over a decanter of port, spilt and smashed decanter !, he has climbed up the curtains and pulled down the vallance, he then slept on it and made it all hairy so that is now in the wash, he put his paw into the middle of a cake mix that I was baking for my MIL, he is now outside swinging from the sheets that are hanging on the washing line :rofl: :rofl:, but I love him :Luv2:
