Title: Herbal remedies- anyone used them with success ?

Have been looking into herbal remedies - Smartie has Herpes and Asthma and was looking into various remedies .
Just wondered if anyone on here has used anything hebal/homeopathic with success.

I am tempted to try Devil's Claw for Trigger, now he is nearly 10

it did wonders for me when I had arthritic pain in my neck

before I buy it though I would like to know if anyone has tried it, and if it is easy to disguise in food, as if it is stressful to give I doubt it is worth it
