As a point of interest for Teresa and Claire, Akamaru is now 1 year old and still has the black smudges on the top of his head. Who won the bet?

Gorgeous boy :Luv: I was soooooo close to applying to adopt him (it was not knowing how the boys would be with another cat that stopped me) so am terribly jealous of you :Luv2:
Those pink feeties have just re-kindled my jealousy, as for him cuddling Mr Lion :blow kiss:

Was having a terrible day until I spotted Akamaru all grown up :Luv: he`s beautiful Ali.
Claire won the bet I said those spots of colour would disappear when he was a year old.
But just look how good that eye looks, he looks good all over. He`s a credit to you, please give him, Vader and Tachi a gentle hug from me.

What a miraculous transformation and you certainly wouldn't guess looking at him now what a rough start to life he had :)

The difference in him from those early pics certainly is amazing. It's hard to believe he's the same cat, especially considering how much he's grown! :evillaugh:

OMG Akamaru you are lovely :Luv2: :Luv2: I had a right strop with Steve about Akamaru (Garcia) because I so wanted to adopt him but Steve said it was too soon (we had just got JO Ripley) I actually think we didnt talk for about 2 days because I was so upset I couldnt have him :rofl:

I wept looking back at the pictures of him as a baby, but what a wonderful outcome. He was such a courageous little mite and has certainly turned into a very handsome boy.
It's so heartwarming to read his story knowing he went through so much as a young un and is now in a warm, safe and loving home. :)

My slave is a video game otaku! Some times she plays way to much >:(, it's all red dead redemption at the moment

My mum had when I was a child a white nightdress case that laid on her bed and with the pink nose and paws it looks like Akamaru! I will see if she has it next time I go and take a pic!!!

I've just bought Red Dead Redemption for the Xbox 360. Haven't played it yet though.
