Title: Test your knowledge on S E X
Post by: Teresa Pawcats on August 07, 2010, 18:59:36 PM
Ok this poor kitten is going to end up being known as Specsavers or Bummer unless we can make a decision, What do you think?
I have made my decision but going to get vet to double check on Tuesday when he visits.

Seeing as Lucas was called 'Mummy's beatiful girl' for a few days I don't think I'm best placed to have a go but I've gone for boy!

I wish I wasn't eating a piece of toast when I first clicked on this thread.

I think it's a girl but hard to tell as it's a bit fuzzy (no pun intended!  :evillaugh: ).

I think boy but seeing as Captain Jack has now turned out to be a girl and Lyra has changed to a boy, I definitely think I am not best to judge.  In actual fact, my original guest of two boys and four girls for Jess' litter has now changed to three girls and three boys and two of them have changed sex, so I've decided I'm hopeless at sexing kittens. :-[

Ok vet been today instead of tomorrow and kitten has been officially sexed.

If its any consolation I had 3 guesses first time not sure, photo thought male, yesterday looked at rear end and said girl.

The verdict GIRL so Melody had 5 girls. well done those who got it right.

poor little girl ...I would have thought it was obviously a girl if you had to "lift the tail" to look.  A boy would have held his tail up for you so you can see him in all his glory

You haven't met my Tilly, Sam. She is so proud of her squeaky clean botty that she delights in showing everyone who displays a passing interest. It's her party trick.

I always judge by the distance between the two 'openings'.  :-[ Boys are further apart as there has to be space to accomodate the little spherical bits that will become apparant later.  :evillaugh:

All regular kitten fosterers will tell you that the really hard ones are black coloured kittens as you often can't see the openings at all.  :innocent:

Think Zebedee was about 10 weeks before his bits dropped, up till then he was a girl.  then he appeared and he became my Zebedee Boo. :Luv: :Luv:
