Title: covcats - Cats in foster care for more than a year

Today has been an admin day.

Sadly, we now have 5 cats that have been with us for over a year -

Daisy (aka Spot) joined us on the 29/01/09 so has now been with us 19 months.

Kyia joined us 11/03/09 so has been with us 17 months.

Jade joined us 09/04/09 so thats 16 months.

Jingles has been with us since 29/04/09 so thats 15 month.

and finally Lady Paige arrived on 15/07/09 so thats just over the year.

Any other groups have many stickers?

Angie, can you add the larger-than-life Ziggy to the list? He`s been here 12 months now, and whilst he is more than welcome to snooze  his days away on the end of my bed, he really does need a new home! I cant imagine why he`s still here, apart from the fact he does like to go AWOL!

More than I care to think about.  Once they pass that cute and cuddly kitten stage they get overlooked for the smaller ones that have come in since, and people say "oh but we want to see them grow up" - sorry, but you've only missed 10 months out of a possible 18 years. :doh:


But take heart, have just reserved a home for my Bailey who has been here approx 16 months. :Luv2:

We have two adult residents who have been with us nearly a year, both came in separately in September last year. One is a beautiful long haired black girl and the other a beautiful short haired black boy. No idea why they are still with us and we've not had a whiff of interest in them  :(

I found out yesterday we have 6 that have been with us a year or more, and that doesn't include the ferals. I said i would try and get CC to put them on the TopCats page, and might do a thread on here for them too.
