Hi, just went to scoop out Monty's poo from the litter tray and found it was fairly soft, also, when I caught him to check it wasn't all in his fur I found some blood on his anus :/
What should I do ?
Is it something to worry about ?

I think it's fairly common but always best to ask your vet.
Byron used to be like that on and off and I told my vet and she said that sometimes it can just be a bit of a sensitive stomach for some reason and not to worry unless it was frequent and there were other symptoms.

Trigger poos quite a lot of blood if he gets a bit loose, but it always resolves once whatever has upset his sytem has passed through
-
When my Benglies had poorly tums they used to have some blood but the vet always said it was nothing to worry about and it always stopped fairly quickly

One of the most common reasons is worms. Has he been wormed recently?
With cats, blood in poo once in a while is rarely anything nasty but it shouldn't happen day after day.

It's only happened once as of yet, his bowels do seem a little loose recently though, perhaps an upset tummy from the change in food ?
The breeder claims to have wormed and flead him but I won't take her word for it so I'll see what the vet says next week for his first injections.
Thanks for all your help !

What food have you changed from and to, and how long did it take to complete the change? Bright red blood comes from the last part of the gut, darker blood comes from higher up but could be mistaken for secretions from the anal glands. Why don't you trust the breeder, did you use one with a good reputation or an amateur?

It may part and parcel of all the recent changes.
