I saw this picture in a window and took a photo.
It made me giggle and got me counting ...........
Toots & Whisky 1970's - 1984
Malcolm and Polly 1990 - 2003 & 2005 respectively (both went to the Bridge)
Eddie and Georgie 2003 - 2006 ( Eddie was poisoned(we think) and died young and Georgie went to stay with friends when I had to move somewhere I couldnt take her in 2006 and unfortunately disappeared some time later. She had previous history of disappearing , having gone missing with me for 6 months and showed up the night before I moved house, very intelligent cat)

This means I still have room in my life for AT LEAST ONE MORE !!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D who knows what my total might be :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

My parents had Smokey from before I was born, then when he died at the age of 12 we got Sooty. When I left home I was catless for some time (but still getting my dose of cat cuddles from Sooty whenever I went home!) until I got Lady and her kitten Minnie. Minnie sadly died at 9 months from an undiagnosed disease that also killed all of her brothers and sisters before Lady and Minnie came to us :'( ...but that's 4 cats in my life...
And since then I have taken onboard Posy, Casper, Figaro, Annie and Oliver....so that's my 9! :Luv2: Maybe in my case it will be 90 rather than 9 :rofl: :evillaugh: :rofl: :evillaugh: :rofl:

MAYBE the sign means we should always have 9 cats at any given time, rather than a total of 9 over the years...which means I need another 3 to bring my tally to 9.... :evillaugh:

Tibby - family cat, got her when I was 3 months old and she died of old age when I was 26 yrs old and she was also 26. :'(
Smudge - my 1st baby boy - went missing when he was 12 and found him dead 7 months later after someone spottig him just the day before :'( :'(
Bonnie - I got her from the RSPCA 2 1/2 yrs ago when she was 10 - long may she live :Luv2: :Luv2:

Just the two - pepsi and darcy. I've always wanted cats before that but unfortunately never been in the position to get one as I was living with my parents until four years ago and they've never been cat people, then for 3 years after that I was living in uni accommodation. I do know that I'm going to make up for lost time though and have a decidedly cat filled future ;D

Just the 2 for me, my Bridge baby Max who left us last July, and our little man Poot who very much rules the roost :Luv2: :Luv2:
When I lived at home I was never allowed anything bigger than a hamster as Dad used to be severely asthmatic and didn't want to risk it after their dalmation diet when I was about 3.
So as soon as I moved out getting a furry was one of the first things I wanted to do ;D

Sid - (RIP) my stray cat - tried to get him a home - but he tested for FIV, so was PTS :'( - (think he was 5 or 6 - ( I promised him a home, and he will now get one with me))

As a child... Tiger, Emma & Steed, Ginger (she was a tortie :shify: ), Scoot Muldoon, Momcat (she had 2 litters of 3 and 4 :-[ We kept Hunky Tunk and rehomed the others. Momcat was neutered and lived well into her 20s ;D)
After leaving home .... Dingle & Baron, Hazel, Aslan, Gandolf, Thomas (and briefly his mom Mitten until she moved in with neighbour :-[ )
All sadly departed in various ways but mostly had long and I like to think happy lives :)
Now of course we have Freddie, Billy Whiz, Noni, Dinah, Millie and Ruby
A fair few :)

as a child Sam and Suzy who were both mogs.
Then approx 20 years ago our neighbours tabby Sage decided that myself and husband were better prospects than her existing owners. {She wasn't well and had to be kept in, they weren't prepared to do this as they had a baby and asked us if she could stay with us. We said yes and she never really went home}.
Just in case Sage was reclaimed by her owners we decided to get cats of our own and Shady and Shona arrived, gorgeous pewter and blue tabby persian sisters. Shona was PTS last year aged 17yr and so far has been the feline love of my life.
We then discovered colourpoints and along came Sophy, Shelley, Glory, Candie, Oska, Omar and Sassie.
We then helped out at the Shirrin persian rescue and along came Melody, Sasha, Sushi, Daisy and Toffee.
We then decided to try another breed and along came Beau the ragdoll.
Ginger the moggie moved in as a stray [we used to find him asleep in a tree when we came home from work ]
We then decided to get a Norwegian and along came Kalle and Kyrre.
Most of these have gone to the bridge now and we are left with Oska, Sassie, Ginger, Kalle and Kyrre. Sadly Beau did not appreciate living in a multi cat home and we eventually decided to rehome him [yesterday so feeling pretty crap about it].

Childhood cats: Rover (she was a half feral female who only loved my dad), Fluffy and Shooshi (Shoosh was my baby and loved me back - i've never had a bond like we had - she passed away at 19 :( , Truda the stray (short for Intruder :evillaugh: ) who the vet guessed was neutered as she had a paunch, 4 kittens later we had Blue - who is stunning but naughty.
As a grown up Nova, Mia and Luna.
That means I have room for at least one more right now :evillaugh:

Well, we've actually had 2 cats living in our house with us to date - Bazza from January 2007 (still AWOL at the moment), and Rossi who we've had since May this year.
But the first cat who convinced me I was going to be a cat lady was Tiger, my parents-in-law's cat who for 4 years slept on top of me with his face about 3 inches from mine every night I stayed there :Luv: Would have loved to bring him here too actually but the in-laws wouldn't have it (now they have taken on sister-in-law's 2 cats as she's overseas with her soldier hubby, I think they're re-evaluating that decision!)
We'll also be cat-sitting for a few weeks for Joey, sister-in-law's cat who is coming back with them later this year - he's lovely, very similar to Rossi in temperament, so I'm hoping they'll get on. Just not sure what'll happen when he has to go to his new home :bye:
If you count that as 4, I need 5 more to get to the magical 9! Of course if we're just counting cats who have been "ours", I need 7!! ;D

One cat when I was a child, my mums cat she passed away when i was 17.
When moved out and got my place I have had then 5 cats (not all at the same time)in total back then
and I guess Ai chan is my 6th cat in my life.

My parents had Sooty before I was born and she lived to the grand old age of 18 :)
We then got Tilly and Milly (sisters), Milly was run over when she was 2. She was rushed to the vets and had an operation but didn't make it :( Tilly still lives with my parents and is nearly 15.
I got Bourneville about 2 months after moving into my home, a few months later Marble followed and then in January this year Soap joined us.
So I've got space/time for at least another 3 :D
