Its Friday - Always a Friday - Friday is the day when all hell breaks loose round here!!
Got a call around 2.30pm to say that a young girl had found kittens in the back garden behind a tree. The mum who they are aware of was nowhere in sight and not been seen for the last couple of days. Dogs on one side, loads of kids on another and an owner who was about to put the little ones in the bin!! They believe this to be mums 4th litter they are aware of in the last year. Poor baby :'(
We stepped in and have brought the little ones back to the ranch and asked them to contact us if mum is spotted. If for nothing else then we will get her spayed and try to get the owner to relinquish her to us (best case). But at least if we know she is neutered that would help!
Babies are only 1-2 days old very cold, hungry and weak. They have now had a wee feed, on a heat pad and under the watchful eye of Nurse Herbie in the Nursery! lol
Looks like the incubator has its 4th set of residents thus far this year!   thanks to you guys!
