He doesn't really know how to play , but tonight he has found a fab new toy!!!! :wow: :wow: he has been batting it across the floor ,going up on his back legs to catch it , rolling about and generally having a lovely time! I have spent a fortune on toys I thought he might like over the months , but the thing that really captured his interest.......................................
My emery board! :tired:

OMG Kirst - you've just brought back a lovely memory of me and my Smudge - he loved emory boards. As soon as I started doing my nails he would jump up and grab it with his claws and then get his teeth in it when he was throwing it up in the air. Hope Steve has many more happy days with it :Luv2:

Aww bless him :Luv: So sad that he's so young yet didn't know how to play
If he likes Emery boards I bet he'll like drinking straws (Riley says McDonalds ones are best) ;D

Bless him :Luv: - now, that might be something Chico would play with, he's a bit weird about proper toys

Aw bless him, maybe he wanted to file his clawsies :evillaugh: :Luv2:

Once they learn to play with one thing the door is open ;D
I taught Kocka with bedmice and she progressed to so many toys.........we liked football with ping pong balls in the garden the best ;D

I know , its heartbreaking! :(He won't go in any of th beds or on the furniture either - unless you call him up. We will get there tho , at least he is quite happy any time he sees any of us now. He is still very wary of strangers , but he will stay in the same room as them.

:evillaugh: typical, they do like the simplest of things don't they

It was really heart breaking to see him soooo nervous and not knowing how to play bless him, but I know that you were the RIGHT home and mummy for him. Thank you for opening up your home and heart to him Kirsty, I know that he will only grow more in confidence with you,and be spoilt rotten for the rest of his life and what more can you ask for

Bless him :)
Soap didn't know how to play when I first got her, she had spent her first couple of months shut in a pantry cupboard most of the time :( I think that's why she tears about so much now!!
Bourneville has always loved emery boards and now so does Soap. Glad other peoples furbabes love them too. I've always wonder what it was that attracted them...is it the smell? Does anyone know?

tin foil balls, drinking straws, roller blind cords, shoe laces and wooden clothes pegs are all favourites here

I have to hide my emery boards as the Clan saw Sweetie aged 18 years young playing with one and then all wanted a go - then of course Sky and Sunny had a go and it is now in several bits
