Title: RIP Oscar
Post by: Desley (booktigger) on June 27, 2010, 11:41:18 AM
Some of you might have noticed my thread asking for vibes for Oscar, one of my ex foster cats - sadly he lost his fight this week. He had actually recovered relatively well from his neurological episode, and could at least jump onto windowsills. He developed an eye ulcer shortly after that, but got over that, and they noticed a lump near his leg, which got a lot bigger, and the vets suspected cancer, and that maybe his neurological episode was the beginning. Tehy had hoped that he could have had a decent amount of time, but his eye went funny again, and they decided it was his time.

RIP Oscar, you had wonderful parents who did so much for you, and it was the best home you could have had, I just wish you could have had longer with them. Unfortunately I dont have any pics of him on my home pc.

Thanks everyone - poor Oscar had so many vet visits the 18 months they had him, and he was such a shy cat to start with that he was lucky to have had such patient owners who accepted him for what he was.
