The day before Doris was dumped with Me I had 2 beautiful black leather sofas delivered
Now I gotta be honest if declawing wasn't painful and babaric ........ :shify:
Between Doris and Dooey (who has now remembered he is a kitten) it is scratched to death :censored:
I have just had to throw the pair of them out of the lounge (the cats not the sofas lol)
Grrrrrrrrr

agh the joys of being a cat slave has its downsides as well. Yes my sofas have been improved by the cats!

Smarties is rugs -which i don''t mind as they are not expensive ones -BUT he has now started on my new room carpet just inside the door way - i am thinking of putting a door mat there even though it will look a bit odd , but it might stop him !?
Bungly always did the sofa corners some times and i noticed Fifi doing it too on a few occasions -they haven''t touched the newish leather one yet though -its the old comfy material one i haven''t been able to part with yet !

I feel your pain
Hamish and Misty between them destroyed 7 settee's , 1x Bed Settee, 1x cover on duvan bed base, and 3 carpets
apart from the Carpets, all the outher things were iether Free or Very Cheap :sneaky:
We bought a new leather settee, and was worried that Olivia might cluck it :scared:
But she is a wee Princess and Only bad uses Her Scratch Tree :wow: only damage incured has be accidental
you do get these rubber cover's for claws though, dont know if any member's here have tried em tho ??

I totally feel your pain, (actually my husband feels it more :evillaugh:)
We left throws on ours for 3 years but only in the past few weeks have they came off permanently and the full extent of the scratches have been revealed :( :tired: :-: and its not a pretty sight.

I can totally relate! Actually I pospone buying new sofas because of the cats :(

Mine is in remarkably good condition considering. I do have a throw over it. I reckon it's more theirs than mine anyway as they spend more time on it than I do

Yep. Bothers my partner more than me....I'd just whack a throw over it, but he'd rather not have to, so it gets dosed with Pet Behave Spray on a regular basis.....
