Hi guys,
We are running a wee fundraiser that we thought you may be interested in - funds are running low with so many high vet bills of late so we have come up with a new fundraising plan. Paul will be building hand built wooden cat scratchers and to get things started we have 1 of his designs up for grabs. ;D ;)
While we are still finalising things and to help with fundraising and to have a bit of fun we are running a wee competition ;)
please see here for details; http://sunnyharbour.org.uk/scratchdraw.html (http://sunnyharbour.org.uk/scratchdraw.html)
Paul has been putting a lot of time and effort into this project which we hope will be a success all round - if anyone has questions just give me a shout :)

Sounds like a great idea ;D
I need one for the birmans upstairs but will have to look at the measurements :innocent:

Gill if you know the kind of thing you want then let me know - Paul is happy to customise. The one up for grabs is his Da Sophie design aptly named after oor Sophie.
All his designs are named after the cats that inspired the design and who love them the most.
These are some of his others;
3 A's Sleeping Station

Da Belle Belle

Da Zorro

and his most recent masterpiece the Da Yoda!

have to say I'm very proud of the work and thought Paul has put into these and the efforts he has gone to to ensure they are all well tested (by the crew) and sturdy.

If da Sophie is the one shown on your site, then that would be it, cos just want something simple but space is at a premium and the birmans are vary long cats on a scrtaching post so need to measure the base size and post height to see if it will work.
Thanks very much. ;D

Great idea and fantastic scratchers - I've bought my raffle tickets.

Oooh, definitely need to win this! - desparately need for my foster cats, one is sitting on a garden chair, and the three on the other side are sitting on a step stool that I normally use for decorating! The Trust can't splash out on scratchers unfortunately (specially since paying all the money for the humongous pen in my garden LOL!) ;)

Sarah do you have prices for the the Belle one - ours would love that and its now the time several of ours need replacing due to serious use by the Mob and Sunny trying to climb up one to be with his mate the feral Panther
Also wil be coming to the open day _ I have a pass and Robin has changed his flights and work schedule to accomodate!!

Hi Guys,
I've just uploaded some info on Pauls cat scratchers as a PDF - not a final document but feel free to have a browse for more information on designs and current prices

We are working on putting together a sister site to the rescue pages for these to be known as Pawfect Posts ;) and will post when it is ready.
