My dearest Buffy....PTS 10/06/2010 due to mammary tumours. You were my dainty wee lady cat, and very brave towards the end. Mummy will love you forever, and there won't be a day that you will not be in my thoughts. Play with Gem on the bridge, until we can all be reunited one fine day! x x x

The one thing that comforts me, is Buffy was PTS before the suffering started. She was a rescue, I had her for 11 years, though she was around 6-7 years old when I first got her. I got her spayed as soon as she came to me, but the sad fact is, if she had been spayed earlier in life by her PREVIOUS owner, her chances of getting mammary cancer would have been almost eliminated.....Hence why I am always banging on to people to spay/neuter their pets!!!!! x x x
