Title: Heston - Our New Cat !
Post by: charley24 on June 01, 2010, 21:33:50 PM
Hello All  ;D

Following on from my post regarding our quest to find a new cat after the sad loss of Figaro, we visited the rescue centre and came home with a very large male ginger cat, whom we named Heston (after our Fav Chef, he looks like he enjoys food) !

As promised here is a pic of Heston, having a chill !

We have had a couple of biting incidents, due to touching his belly, and he had a little spit at me earlier when I said no to him attacking the bedclothes as I moved my feet and he got a little too excited !

But he is the fluffiest and cuddliest and just loves nuzzling !

Thanks to everyone for your help and advice and helping us find a rescue centre with this adorable kitty !

Awww Heston is lovely. May be worthwhile getting a feliway diffuser while he is settling in

hugs to Heston

Thanks All :)

I am going to get the feliway, he isn't aggressive by nature, he just has his little ways !

Have a pic fest tonight so here are a few more.

Henston wasn't impressed with Britain's Got Talent Tonight ! He loved playing with his fishy and ohhh what a proud pose !

What an absolute hunk :drool; I'm sure once you all get to know each other you'll learn his likes and dislikes, one of my childhood cats was as soppy as they come and would spend hours being carried around like a baby but if you stroked his tummy too much he really didn't like it and you soon knew about it  :evillaugh:

Hope he helps heal the pain of losing Figaro for both you and your daughter

Im sure once he has settled and knows you mean no harm he will calm down, if they are not used to alot of attention getting so much can be a shock!!

Aww he so so lovely. Feliway is good idea anyway. I use it for my cat Tyler. She hisses now and then and has a tendancy to scratch ocassionaly and helps calm her if she bit stressed
