My darling Taz, rescued from an appalling home in Chesterfield after being given away on Freecycle like some unwanted bit of furniture.

My sweet, laid back boy, so cruelly hit by a car outside our house last night and then left by a moron of a driver who would not even move him off the road, even though he was still alive. Thanks to those who did stop and came and told me and stopped with me till he was safe back in our care.

The kindest option was for the vet to PTS due to a spinal fracture and massive internal injuries.

Safe now with Pickle who was sadly taken from us 6 months ago due to a dog attack and TC one of our fosters who was hit on the road at Easter.

I could scream it is a quiet country road thru a village with clearly marked 30mph signs, a place I thought my little ones would be safe.

I just don't understand how someone wouldn't stop when they probably know full well that they have hit a cat, it makes Me so  :censored: angry

I sat in the road with my Missy until she died  :'(


RIP Taz - Mummy loved you so very much, you were lucky to get that time being loved xx

Oh Dabs. I don't know what to say; he was such a handsome boy. I remember putting you in touch with the people who put him on Freecycle and being glad he was going somewhere he'd enjoy such freedom. I'm so sorry. :care:

RIP Taz sweetheart. You weren't very old but you got a lot of love packed into your short time.
