Title: Miss Cissy of the Clan Cats
Post by: Liz on May 15, 2010, 14:58:41 PM: It is with much sadness we announce the death of Miss Cissy of the Clan Cats - she died with her Daddy and I in attendance at 13.27pm today after 2 glorius years here at the Clan - aged 18 and a feral lady she leaves her 2 kids Smudger and Ragamuffin and her siblings the Clan Cats and Dogs - she went in the sunshine of a beautiful day with the heat in her face.

Cissy came to us just 2 years ago when some kind person decided to poison her colony - we got the survivors as no one else wanted them so Miss Cissy a sliver tabby and her 2 children Smudger a grey and white boy and his sister Ragamuffin a grey and white long haired lady came home to us here at the Clan to become loved and wanted for thier remaining time

Cissy had 2 wonderful years with us - her own radiator bed, her own sheepkin lined litter box - she al;ways slept in one on her arrival, food on tap, cat milk, treats and her own catnip sack, she was wonderufl old lady had just celebrated her 18th birthday with Sweetie 3 weeks ago, I think she hung on till today so her Daddy could be with us a t the end - it was peaceful and even our vet was in tears

She will be cremated and come home to the Clan forever next week

She is no longer a nuisance feral she became and will always be Miss Cissy of the Clan Cats :Luv2:

Post by: Liz on May 24, 2010, 19:04:07 PM: Thankyou all for your thoughts on our darling Miss Cissy - she will be home on Friday as long as I can get hold of the Cremmie Man - OH should be home Thursday night so he will pick her up as I will be getting glammed up for our God daughters wedding on Saturday - having been to the hennight on Saturday last week I know there is a lot more time required to look younger!!!!

Am so glad you and OH were blessed with the opportunity to give Cissy all the love she deserved in her final two years.

Ferals are so special. Am sure you will be reminded of her often as she left Smudger and Ragamuffin in your tender care.

I hope she will be our only loss this year after Sailor, baby Archie abnd Jazz in 2009 :(
