I found some of these in a charity shop the other day - they are a really good idea http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Cord-winder-2pk/dp/B000MLSHF2?_encoding=UTF8& I'm not sure if they are the same ones as my pack (unopened) was priced at £5.99 for 2 and they are £3.99 now (I paid £1 ;D ) They are spring loaded. You hook the end of the cord onto it and the blind cord winds itself into it (not sure if that makes sense) Willow was a terror for playing with the cords and I had to tie them up out of reach which is a pain when you want to open or close blinds. These could be life savers.
I was also pleased that they are made in Holland rather than China ;D

They look good, thanks for that. At the moment we have one blind, I can reach to tuck the cord around the pole out of the way of mischievious cats. But Our new home has a big patio door with a blind and I wouldn't be able to put the cord out of the way. I will definately be getting a pack of these next week beofre we move. :)

They don't wind up the whole cord but enough to keep it out of the way.

Thanks, won't be so much fun swatting a box, they chew the cord if they get to it. Poppy runs her teeth over it.
I was on My way to work one morning, and I turned back because I couldn't remember if I'd put the cord out the way!!
